Monitoring Land Cover Change by Leveraging a Dynamic Service-Oriented Computing Model

چکیده
Land cover change (LCC) is increasingly affecting global climate change, energy cycle, carbon and water with far-reaching consequences to human well-being. Web service-based online detection applications have bloomed over the past decade for monitoring land change. Currently, massive processing services data been published used internet. However, few studies consider both service integration resource sharing in domain, making end-users rarely able acquire LCC information timely. The behavior interaction between also growing more complex due increasing use of web composition technology, it challenging static provide collaboration matching diverse services. To address above challenges, a Dynamic Service Computing Model (DSCM) was proposed LCC. Three dynamic computation strategies were according different users’ requirements detection. WMS-LCC first developed by extending existing WMS ready-use access. Spatial relation-based then extracting based on multi-temporal data. Processing encapsulation methods chaining various chain. Finally, prototype system implemented evaluate validity feasibility DSCM. Two walk-through examples performed GlobeLand30 datasets muti-temporal Landsat imagery, respectively. experimental results indicate that DSCM approach effective applicable wider range issues

SeDeUse: A Model for Service-Oriented Computing in Dynamic Environments
The current state-of-the-art in service-oriented computing targets mostly business-to-business interaction, as service directories store business specific instead of general, abstract, interfaces. Moreover, the established coordination models were designed to operate mainly over business processes with immutable, previously known, locations and tightly couple resource awareness and usage, inhib...
متن کاملMonitoring land - cover changes : a comparison of change detection techniques
Six change detection procedures were tested using Landsat MultiSpectral Scanner (MSS) images for detecting areas of changes in the region of the Te rminos Lagoon, a coastal zone of the State of Campeche, Mexico. The change detection techniques considered were image di erencing, vegetative index di erencing, selective principal components analysis (SPCA), direct multi-date unsupervised classi...
متن کاملAn Object-oriented Approach to Urban Land Cover Change Detection
Over the past decades, most of the remote sensing studies dealt with natural environment. The advance of remote sensing satellites and the innovative methods of proceeding high resolution images have contributed to integrated urban studies. This project is an attempt to use remote sensing technology so as to monitor the urban sprawl of the city of Thessaloniki and detect the changes occurred th...
متن کاملLand use and land cover spatiotemporal dynamic pattern and predicting changes using integrated CA-Markov model
Analyzing the process of land use and cover changes during long periods of time and predicting the future changes is highly important and useful for the land use managers. In this study, the land use maps in the Ardabil plain in north-west part of Iran for four periods (1989, 1998, 2009 and 2013) are extracted and analyzed through remote sensing technique, using the land-sat satellite images. T...
